Foundation Direct Family Care is a Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice — which means we operate completely outside the traditional insurance model. No billing headaches. Just great medicine. We have an established location in downtown Dalton, GA, and we are excited to be expanding to LaFayette, GA. We are a growing, tight-knit team that takes our work seriously and has fun doing it.

The Role

We are looking for a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team and help us deliver outstanding acute care across both of our locations. You will manage acute appointments, split your time between Dalton and LaFayette, and work closely alongside your supervising physician in a truly collaborative environment. This is a part-time position at 20 hours per week — a great opportunity for a clinician who wants meaningful, high-quality patient interactions without the burnout of a high-volume practice.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate and manage acute appointments at both the Dalton and LaFayette offices
• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a low-volume, unhurried environment (30-minute acute visit slots)
• Collaborate directly and regularly with your supervising physician
• Maintain thorough, accurate clinical documentation
• Contribute to the warm, team-oriented culture we have built at Foundation Direct Family Care

What We're Looking For

• Active Georgia license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Experience in primary care, urgent care, or family medicine preferred
• Strong clinical skills in the evaluation and management of acute complaints
• Excellent communication skills and genuine enthusiasm for patient care
• Reliable transportation between our Dalton and LaFayette locations
• A self-starter who thrives in a small, collaborative practice setting
