As a Physician Assistant, you play a direct role in saving the lives of our patients each day by serving our residents in a safe environment promoting long term recovery. You will partner with your community to ensure that you have the resources and support to provide an exceptional experience for our patients.

Qualifications:
·Associate’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field required.
·Active license as a Physician Assistant required.
·COVID –19 Vaccination / approved exemption status

Essential Functions:

• Works as part of the medical team onsite with the residents during routine visits.
• Assists physician in conducting psychological assessments which includes evaluating emotional, social, economic, and vocational status of the patient. Assists in reviewing medical records when necessary. Provides counseling and/or non-medical services as outlined by the physician during appointment sessions with the residents including individual, family, and community resources. Provides assistance with everyday living activities, including eating, bathing, toileting, walking, and standing up/standing up for longer than 4 hours per day. Observes individuals during times of high stress and performs additional duties as needed to reduce stress and meet COVID standards. Observes animals and feeds them food items such as cat food or pellets. Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay: $105,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
