Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and vital signs, to determine health status and develop appropriate care plans.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks to document findings accurately and efficiently.
• Administer injections, including Botulinum toxin treatments, EMG and other medications, following aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
• Support triage processes in urgent care or emergency room environments, ensuring timely patient evaluation and prioritization of care needs.Requirements
• Certification as a Physician Assistant from an accredited program with current state licensure.
• Proven experience with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks; familiarity with ICD-9/10 coding and CPT coding is essential.
• Demonstrated proficiency in patient care procedures including physical examinations, medication administration, and diagnostic evaluation.
• Neurology or Neurosurgery Experience preferable
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and best practices for medical records management.
• Spanish speaking preferable
