Physician Assistant

Pulmonary Sleep Outpatient NP or PA and some inpatient

Location Smithfield NC approx. 30 min from Raleigh NC. The clinic is located on the campus of UNC Johnston Health.

Responsibilities

Seeing patients in the clinic and few hospital consults. Clinic is on hospital campus.

Authorizations are done by medical assistants—no scut work.

Expected Average Volume to be seen is 14-16 patients per day. Office Hours 9 AM to 5 PM. Nice and helpful support staff. Relaxed work environment. Sufficient time for each patient. No stress.

EMR - Office Advanced MD, Dragon dictation software.

Also need to use EPIC for UNC patient records.

No weekend. No nights.

Total 3 weeks PTO plus approximately 6 Paid Holidays a year .

We prefer 1 year of experience or a new graduate determined to learn and provide excellent patient care. We do not want anyone who will provide substandard care. We would like someone eager to learn, able to do concise, accurate notes, and have good patient rapport.

Ample teaching available and attending is available at all times. All patients are discussed with attending every day unless on vacation. Attending is available in person for most of the clinic duration to staff patients.

Job Type: Monday to Friday 9-5.

Salary: $100000 - $130000 per year based on experience.

Bonus can be added for higher patient volumes.
