Physician Assistant

Spine and Pain Specialist of the Carolinas is seeking an experienced Part-Time Physician Assistant to join our spine and pain management clinic! We have a strong focus on interventional pain therapies . This role involves evaluating patients, managing treatment plans and supporting procedural care in a collaborative, physician-led practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and follow-up visits
• Assist with and manage care related to interventional pain procedures
• Develop treatment plans under physician supervision
• Review imaging, diagnostics, and prior records
• Provide medication management per clinic protocols
• Document visits accurately in the EMR(EPIC)
• Educate patients on procedures and treatment options
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and clinical staff

Qualifications

• Current Physician Assistant license (NC/SC)
• NCCPA certification required
• Previous experience in Pain Management, Ortho, PM&R or Neurosurgery preferred
• Interventional Pain experience a plus (training available)
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Schedule

• Part-time with flexible scheduling
• No nights, weekends, or hospital calls

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
