Physician Assistant

We have immediate opening for a mid-level Physician Assistant (PA) position in a Cardiology specialty practice. Ideal candidate is someone who has experience in Cardiology, Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine area. Acute Care Certification required. While we will consider recent graduates with appropriate clinical rotations, experience in Cardiology or Internal Medicine will be a plus.

Duties

- The provider will treat and assess the comprehensive health needs of their patients and provide clinical care.

- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies

- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses related to cardiology.

- Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies

- Provide patient education on preventive care, disease management, and lifestyle modifications

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care

- Shared on call schedule with physician at hospitals

Experience

- Experience as a Physician Assistant in a clinical setting and currently approved for Acute Care.

- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology and documentation

- Proficiency in documentation practices

- Skilled provider with comprehensive knowledge of acute conditions, diagnostic and treatment in settings, such as emergency medicine, critical care or interventional cardiology.
