**Job Summary:**

We are currently looking for a new graduate or experienced PA for a very busy orthopedic practice. Part time position . We have offices in Woodbury, Melville, West Islip and Patchogue but need to travel all over the island. Very competitive salary, no weekends.

**Responsibilities:**

- Conduct patient assessments and provide appropriate medical treatment under the supervision of a licensed physician

- Assist in surgical procedures and minor surgeries as needed

- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans

- Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and treatment options

- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

- Participate in care and provide support to pediatric patients

- Utilize and effectively in daily practice

- Assist in managing operations to ensure efficient workflow

- Provide compassionate and comprehensive to individuals of all ages

**Skills:**

- Strong understanding of medical principles and practices

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Proficiency in medical software and technology

- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities

- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

- Prior experience in outpatient care settings is preferred

- Certification as a Physician Assistant is required
