Jacksonville Hearing and Balance Institute (JHBI) is a specialty medical practice dedicated to diagnosing and treating hearing and balance disorders through advanced, patient-centered care. Founded in 1997 by J. Douglas Green Jr., JHBI provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for conditions affecting the auditory and vestibular systems — from the ear canal to the brain’s cortex. Our providers work closely with Dr. Green to deliver state-of-the-art care for patients experiencing hearing loss, dizziness, and vestibular disorders.

Physician Assistant Responsibilities
This is a full-time, on-site position (Monday–Friday). Remote work is not available.
Under physician supervision, the Physician Assistant will:
- Provide high-quality medical care to support and improve patient health.
- Evaluate patients through medical history reviews, interviews, and physical examinations and procedures.
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing, including hearing and vestibular evaluations.
- Recommend and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician, Audiologists, PAs, and medical staff.
- Accurately document patient care and maintain EMR records in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with infection-control protocols, safety standards, and healthcare regulations.
- Stay current with medical advancements through continuing education and professional development.
- Support team development through collaboration, education, and mentorship opportunities.
- Assist with practice marketing and community engagement initiatives.
- Provide the highest quality customer service to all.
- Adhere to practice protocols and processes.

Education and Experience Requirements
- Graduate of an ARC-PA- accredited Physician Assistant program
- Active Florida Physician Assistant license
- Current BLS certification
- National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Minimum of 2 years of ENT experience preferred*
