Bridge Medical Neurology Consultants is a comprehensive neurology practice that offers in-depth and personalized consultations and advanced in-house neuro-diagnostic procedures for the management and treatment of a range of conditions. Dr. Said Ibrahimi, M.D. Q.M.E, has over 14 years of experience as a leading board-certified neurologist with a subspecialty in Brain Injury Medicine, tending to his expansive cohort of Adult patients, and additionally providing care for Personal Injury (P.I.) and Worker’s Compensation cases. With his extensive training and sub-speciality, Dr. Ibrahimi specializes in the treatment and management of conditions such as strokes, TIAs, dementia, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s Disease, epilepsy, nerve and muscle dysfunction, and many more. As a Qualified Medical Examiner (Q.M.E.) Dr. Ibrahimi also offers medical-legal services such as Independent Medical Examinations, and Expert Witness Review.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Physician Assistant who will seamlessly join our practice to provide the highest level of care for our patients. The PA position will require some travel between our three office locations in San Jose, Fremont, and San Ramon. New graduates are welcome, pending the required certifications. The candidate will be granted autonomy to see, treat, and manage patients as they see fit, while working under the guidance of our supervising physician, and adhering to state and clinic policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Provide in-depth consultations, including the appropriate assessments, history taking, physical examinations, and diagnosis.
• Charting notes and documentation following a patient visit in accordance with state and clinic policies and procedures.
• Ordering and / or prescribing the relevant and necessary diagnostic studies, medications, and referrals needed to manage or treat the patient.
• Consults with the supervising physician as needed by the patient and the assessment.
• Effective communication with medical staff to coordinate with all levels of patient management and meet clinic standards and demand.
• Establish effective and culturally competent working relationships with medical and supporting staff, patients, and families.
• Compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality policies
• Experience with the following neuro-diagnostic procedures is not required but a plus: Nerve Conduction Studies and Electromyography, Transcranial Dopplers, Electroencephalograms, Videonystagmography, and Cognitive Examinations.
• Additionally, the ability to perform and report an Electromyography without direct supervision, or the willingness to be trained and certified in doing so is preferred.
• Additional tasks assigned by the supervising physician and / or the Office Manager.

Salary range is dependent upon the candidate's experience.

• Current California State PA License (Required)
• Controlled Substance Certification (Required)
• Active DEA registration (Required)
• National Provider Identifier number (Required)
• 1 Year of Clinical Experience (Preferred)
• 1 Year of EMR / EHR Experience (Practice Fusion) (Preferred)
• Experience working as an independent practitioner (Preferred)
