Position Overview
We are a boutique physician-led practice seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) with a strong interest in personalized care, prevention, and aesthetics to join our growing team.
This role will focus primarily on supporting the precision medicine side of the practice with a clear path for progression into aesthetics and plastic surgery. The PA will work closely with the physician to support precision medicine and aesthetic division providing comprehensive medical care through detailed evaluations, review of labs and diagnostics, individualized treatment planning, preventive care, and continuity of care across the patient journey.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Support – Precision Medicine
- Support the precision medicine director and physician in the evaluation and ongoing management of patients.
- Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits under physician supervision, including detailed medical histories, symptom review, physical exams, and documentation.
- Review laboratory results, biomarkers, diagnostic studies, and relevant outside records to support individualized care plans.
- Assist in communication and coordination of personalized treatment plans developed by physician and precision medicine director.
- Manage ongoing patient follow-up, including education, treatment monitoring, medication review, and adjustments within scope and protocol.
- Order and interpret appropriate labs and diagnostic testing within the PA scope of practice and established office protocols.
- Provide clear patient education on treatment recommendations, lifestyle changes, nutrition, supplementation, medications, and follow-up care.
Med Spa & Aesthetic Services
- Provide non-surgical aesthetic services based on training, licensure, and office needs.
- Collaborate closely with the aesthetician and nutritionist to support a comprehensive care model that integrates wellness, skin health, and patient goals.
Plastic Surgery Support
- Manage pre-operative and post-operative appointments, including patient education, consents, wound care, suture removal, and recovery monitoring.
- Assist with in-office and operating room
- procedures and, as applicable, first-assist responsibilities according to experience and scheduling needs.
- Support continuity of care for surgical patients and help maintain a high-touch patient experience.
Patient Communication & Care Coordination
- Serve as a primary day-to-day clinical point of contact for patients, answering questions, managing expectations, and providing ongoing support in person, by phone, and through patient communication platforms.
- Provide clear pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions and ensure proper documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Coordinate care with the precision medicine director, nutritionist, aesthetician, and front office staff to optimize clinic flow, scheduling, and follow-up.
- Help ensure a polished, responsive, concierge-level patient experience across all service lines.
Practice Growth & Physician Support
- Help the physician maintain a high-level schedule by independently managing appropriate clinic visits within the PA scope, following defined protocols.
- Support practice marketing and patient education efforts as requested, including internal events and educational outreach.
- Contribute to workflow improvement, protocol development, and optimization of clinical and wellness services.
Compliance & Professional Standards
- Practice in accordance with all applicable state and federal regulations, supervision requirements, and office policies.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation and uphold HIPAA and privacy standards at all times.
- Maintain current licensure, certifications, and continuing education requirements.
Qualifications
Required
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current NCCPA certification.
- Active and unrestricted PA license in the state of practice, or eligibility to obtain licensure promptly.
- Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and patient-centered communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience in preventive care, wellness, internal medicine, functional medicine, endocrinology, family medicine or another outpatient setting involving longitudinal patient management.
- Experience in plastic surgery, dermatology, aesthetics, or med spa services is a plus.
- Comfort reviewing labs, supporting individualized treatment plans, and working in a fast-paced, high-touch private practice environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a polished communication style suited to a premium patient experience.
