Physician Assistant - Certified

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Certified Physician Assistant, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care across diverse clinical settings. Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history reviews to determine appropriate care plans.
  • Administer injections, perform suturing, and manage airway procedures using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Manage acute pain and chronic conditions through medication administration, pain management strategies, and procedural interventions such as botulinum toxin treatments.
  • Utilize EMR systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of patient records, data collection, and clinical research activities.
  • Assist with diagnostic evaluations including radiology interpretation, laboratory testing (e.g., phlebotomy), and diagnostic procedures such as spinal taps or cardiac catheterizations.
  • Support inpatient and outpatient care by triaging patients in emergency rooms or urgent care settings; coordinate discharge planning and post-acute care.
  • Participate in clinical trials or research initiatives to advance medical knowledge; contribute to data management and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Skills

  • Extensive experience with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks; proficient in medical coding including ICD-10/ICD-9/CPT coding for billing purposes.
  • Strong background in hospital medicine, ICU/CCU/Neonatal ventilator management, Level I & II trauma center protocols, and emergency medicine procedures.
  • Proven ability to perform physical examinations, diagnostic evaluations, and patient assessments with attention to detail.
  • Skilled in performing suturing, injection administration (including dermal fillers), and aseptic techniques for various procedures.
  • Knowledgeable in acute care settings such as ICU, telemetry units, or surgical wards; familiar with ventilator management and airway techniques.
  • Experience with telehealth platforms for remote patient monitoring and consultation services.
  • Familiarity with health coaching, pain management strategies, hospice & palliative medicine practices, and occupational health protocols. Pay: $76.00 - $90.00 per hour
