Physician Assistant - Certified

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our AI first, virtual only, primary care practice providing clinical services across 50 states plus DC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various medical disciplines and be committed to providing high-quality patient care. This role involves working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat patients across a range of settings.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans based on clinical findings.
• Administer medications, including injections, IV infusions, and manage acute pain management protocols.
• Provide triage services in emergency situations and assist in critical care settings.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations while managing medical records and patient information.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Experience in acute care settings such as ICU or emergency medicine is preferred.
• Familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding practices and CPT coding for accurate billing processes.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and infection control practices.
• Proficiency in using EMR systems for patient documentation and management.
• Experience with telehealth services is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
