Position Summary: besa Health is looking for a motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physicians Assistant (PA) to join our empowering team. As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), you will be responsible for seeing Patients in our new facility on 4th Street and providing remote patient care consultations for our exciting healthcare platform that puts patients back in control of their own healthcare. Using our proprietary EHR and patient app, we have worked hard to develop thoughtful UX and a positive work culture. A culture where our employees come together to provide valuable solutions to today’s healthcare system. In this role, you will be an integral part of our team, delivering personalized care and support to our patients. This position requires a flexible work schedule with possible part-time responsibilities as we grow the practice.

Candidates should be able to communicate effectively with Patients in Spanish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ask intuitive questions to discover cause(s) of illness, injury or medical issue
• Reach an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and the patient’s medical history, exam, and testing.
• Prescribe and interpret lab tests to obtain more information
• Prescribe medications and provide comprehensive instructions for administration
• Collaborate with Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and extended team to form a high performing medical team
• Be able to continually learn and innovate for better patient care and outcomes.
• Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion with patients
• Be willing to adapt and overcome issues as they arise for the betterment of patients.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or family/primary medicine as an APP
• Spanish Speaking
• Must hold an active unrestrictive license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant
• Ability to provide compassionate care and establish patient rapport
• Strong understanding of examination methodologies to include lab work, images, and patient medical records and diagnostics and their interpretation.
• Broad knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications
• DEA License
• Valid BLS Certificate certification.
• Desire to change the status quo of the American Healthcare system.
• Must be credentialed with all the main insurance carriers.
• Tech savvy
• Lifestyle medicine license preferred
