Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive patient care in HRT, peptide therapy and medical weight loss. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality medical services, utilizing advanced clinical skills, and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. You will play a vital role in patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management, ensuring optimal health outcomes while adhering to all regulatory standards.
Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs, intake evaluations, and medical history documentation.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations using clinical judgment and interpret medical records, imaging results, and laboratory data.
- Administer injections, manage lab work and health optimization pathways.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for Hormone replacement therapy in males and females, PRP air tretaments, PRP joint injections, peptide therapy, and medical weight loss.
- Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic or Cerner to document patient encounters accurately and manage medical records efficiently.
- Provide patient education on health coaching topics including medication administration, nutrition, smoking cessation, and disease prevention strategies.
Skills
- Extensive experience with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for documentation and data management.
- Proficiency in procedures including injections, phlebotomy, (including cardiac basic aseptic techniques.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-9/ICD-10 coding standards for accurate billing and documentation.
- Diagnose and treat hormone deficiencies (menopause, andropause, low T) overseeing bio-identical hormone protocols.
- Develop and monitor weight loss programs, incuding prescribing GLP-1 agonists and lifestyle counseling.
- Order, interpret, and act upon laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring patient privacy and confidentiality at all times; experience working within hospital or outpatient clinics is preferred.
