NURSE PRACTITIONER / PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT – PER DIEM

Highly regarded advanced wound care medical group in California has immediate openings for compassionate, dedicated, and self-motivated Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our fast-growing team in Los Angeles. LOCATIONS: Los Angeles

QUALIFICATIONS:

• State licensed to practice medicine (PA/NP/DEA)
• National board certified (NCCPA/AANP/AANC)
• Valid and unrestricted driver license
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Work well with others
• Strong organizational / time-management skills and the ability to multi-task
• Technical aptitude, coachable, and willingness to teach others
• Wound care experience and/or wound care certification preferred
• Must have full range of mobility and be able to reposition patients
• Desire for continued professional and personal growth

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Travel and treat our long-term care facility patients
• Conduct initial evaluation and all follow-up visits
• Perform wound care procedures, including debridement
• Prescribe medications and dressings as needed
• Ability to administer biologic application when necessary
• Accurately and timely document patient care from start of care to discharge
• Patient support and education
• Participate in continued training activities
• Assist with special projects
