Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Interventional Pain Management

We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our growing family here at United Spine & Pain! As a small Physician owned medical practice we aim to treat our patients like family and deliver care differently! We are looking to add like minded people to our team, who also aim to change the culture of medicine, one patient at a time! There is tremendous room for growth, peer education, and leadership roles going forward.

Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm or open to part time position.

Completely outpatient practice without call coverage, weekends, nights, or holidays.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assess patients' pain symptoms, treatment responses and continued care plan.

- Administer injections when appropriate.

- Monitor and issue appropriate prescriptions when needed.

- Monitor labs and patient compliance with multimodal treatment plan.

- Assess post procedure responses.

- Refer for physical therapy and psychotherapy when appropriate.

- Refer for specialist care: I.E. Neurosurgery, Orthopedic Surgery, and Psychiatry.

- Work with the healthcare team closely including Physicians and staff.

- Continue to promote and grow USP's family centered approach to care

- Comply strictly with medicolegal guidelines along with local and federal regulations.

- Must be willing to travel to our office in Tallahassee, FL.

USP is an Interventional Pain Management Practice that specializes in minimally invasive surgeries, procedures, injections, and medication management for patients in pain and impaired function.
