Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history reviews.
- Assist in diagnostic evaluations by ordering and interpreting laboratory tests, imaging studies,
- Administer medications AND doing injections.
- Manage acute pain and urgent care cases by triaging patients effectively within hospital or outpatient settings, including emergency rooms and Level III trauma centers.
- Support inpatient and outpatient care through discharge planning, post-acute care coordination, hospice & palliative medicine, and home health services.
Experience
- Proven experience working in hospital environments or clinic.
- Hands-on skills in procedures like injections, sutures, and part taking in surgical procedures.
- Familiarity with CPT coding and ICD coding (ICD-9/10) for accurate documentation and billing; knowledge of medical terminology and physiology is essential.
- Ability to perform clinical tasks including phlebotomy, DME management (durable medical equipment), nutrition counseling, and basic life support certification. Pay: $105,000.00 - $139,196.03 per year
