University Health and UMA are growing! We’re seeking a board-certified and experienced physician assistant to help expand our Orthopedic service line. In this role, you will be at the heart of our mission to elevate community wellness, providing vital care for patients recovering from surgery, injuries, and chronic conditions with a focus on restoring their mobility and quality of life.

Role Highlights:

  • Monday – Friday schedule
  • Providing care in collaboration with an experienced board-certified orthopedic surgeon
  • Responsible for performing follow-up cases and minor procedures (i.e. injections)
  • Work with a dynamic team of clinicians committed to caring for a diverse patient population
  • Contribute to a culture of patient safety, continuous quality improvement, and innovation

About University Health & System Expansion

As one of Texas’s largest and most respected public health systems, University Health provides high-quality, patient-centered care. To meet the needs of a growing San Antonio, we are embarking on a major strategic expansion that includes new community hospitals and additional access points across the region. Set to open in 2027, these new facilities will enhance specialty care, strengthen our referral network, and foster deeper collaboration among physicians to ensure better access for every patient.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
