Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (FNP) – Urgent Care + Primary Care

Job Expired

We’re hiring a PA-C or NP to join a busy walk-in clinic that provides both urgent care and same-day primary care. This role is for a clinician who likes autonomy, is comfortable seeing all ages, and practices with judgment, efficiency, and genuine patient focus.

You will often be the only on-site provider, supported by a strong clinical team. If you want a position where you can practice broadly (acute complaints + common chronic issues) and do real urgent care procedures, this is it.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in a fast-paced walk-in setting
  • Manage common urgent care presentations (respiratory, GI, MSK, skin, minor trauma, UTI/STI, eye/ear complaints, etc.)
  • Provide walk-in primary care for common chronic conditions and follow-ups when appropriate (HTN, DM, asthma/COPD, thyroid, mood/anxiety basics, med refills when clinically appropriate)
  • Perform urgent care procedures as indicated, such as: laceration repair, I&D, wound care, splinting, foreign body removal, basic nail procedures, and other common in-clinic procedures within scope
  • Order and interpret appropriate testing and initiate evidence-based treatment plans (and escalate appropriately when needed)
  • Document clearly and efficiently in the EMR
  • Lead the flow of the clinic during your shift: communicate with MAs/front desk, keep patients informed, maintain quality and safety

EXPERIENCE
Preferred: 1–3+ years but new grads are welcome with experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, family medicine, or a high-acuity primary care setting.

Job Type: Part-time
