Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician Assistant –Daytime Weekday/Weekend Coverage

Georgetown Pulmonary Associates has an exciting new opportunity for an energetic, hardworking, outgoing, high integrity physician assistant to join our growing private practice. This is a fantastic place to start off as a new graduate. We have three experienced board certified physicians and 3 physician assistants who are willing to answer questions and guide treatment plans at any time. For those who have more experience, it also serves as a great place to practice more autonomy in medical decision making. Our office and hospitals are located in the fastest growing county in Texas-in Williamson County - just ~30 miles north of Austin, TX. There is easy access to San Antonio and Dallas just off of I-35.

The Physician Assistant is responsible for daytime management of patients for hospital and office admission, consults and daily follow up. It would involve flexibility in an ICU, traditional pulmonary service and office clinic setting. The PA would perform a combination of beside care, admission and hospital discharges, working closely with Pulmonary/Critical Care physicians in the management of acute and chronic illnesses/conditions. The PA is responsible for the coordination of care with ER physicians, specialists, respiratory therapy and appropriate ancillary services and shall work collaboratively with all members of the health care team. Salary:

· Average $95,000-$110,000 based on years of experience

• Monthly productivity bonuses

Schedule:

• Full time position- 5 days per week
• No night call
• Daytime shift- must include Saturday and Sunday (8am-5pm)
