Job Description

We are currently seeking a Physician Assistant to join our growing team. The PA will provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients with various physical and functional impairments. This is weekends only, every weekend.

• Malpractice Covered: Full malpractice insurance is provided by the company.
• No Call: Zero overnight or on-call responsibilities; your time is entirely your own once your shift ends.
• Flexible Hours: Flexible daily hours
• 1099 or W2

Qualifications

• Current Indiana license
• Physician Assistant
• Experience in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pain Management, Family Medicine, Other.
• Current DEA licensure
• Highly relationship oriented and ability to passionately serve patients in acute and sub acute care settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments for patients to determine functional abilities, limitations, and needs.
• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures. Adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Review current symptoms and identifying diagnosis to be used in care management and active medical management of treatment.
• High patient satisfaction and improved health status including reduced hospitalization and ER visits.
• Critical thinking to address patient needs, providing the appropriate resources and follow-up care to improve stability.
• Educating patients on topics such as disease process, medication, and compliance.
• Comply with all HIPAA regulations and maintain security of protected health information.

Pay: $625.00 per day
