Physician Assistant (Physician Associate) — Cardiology

The Opportunity

Chaparral Medical Group is seeking passionate and team-oriented Physician Associates (Physician Assistants) to join our fast-growing, mission-driven care team in a role dedicated to supporting our cardiology team . You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, compassionate cardiovascular care to patients, working closely with cardiologists and a collaborative clinical team. You'll benefit from integrated virtual support and be empowered to make a meaningful impact on the health of our communities.

What You'll Do

  • Manage a patient panel, delivering care across acute, chronic, and preventive visits
  • Provide in-person care at a clinic site with occasional telehealth appointments as needed
  • Collaborate with in-office teammates during daily huddles and virtual clinical team check-ins
  • Perform in-office procedures aligned with your clinical training and credentials
  • Support patients in their care journey by coordinating referrals and follow-ups with specialists and facilities
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation within our electronic medical records system
  • Contribute to a team culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Who You Are

  • Completed an accredited PA program with current national certification (required)
  • Licensed to practice in the state of California (required)
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication, patient education, and interpersonal abilities
  • Comfortable working in a team-based environment and adapting to a fast-paced clinic setting
  • Prior cardiology experience preferred (cardiology clinic or cardiovascular care setting strongly valued)

Please Note: While you will work at a Chaparral Medical Group (CMG) clinical site, your employer will be Akido MSO LLC, which shares common ownership with CMG.

Salary range

$130,000—$150,000 USD
