Physician Assistant, Psychiatry

Post Acute Behavioral Health is a physician owned and operated group that focuses on improving behavioral health outcomes for patients with psychiatric needs in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. We are looking for motivated providers who enjoy working with geriatric patients and have the ability to collaborate with multiple specialties. The job offers great flexibility allowing for a balanced work life and satisfaction while treating patients.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Rounding 4-5 days a week as a psychiatry consultant for all behavioral health patient in the facility
• Providing medication management and supportive psychotherapy
• Collaborating with the social work, nursing and primary care team
• Documentation completed in the EHR

Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted PA CA state license, or ability to obtain
• DEA license, or ability to obtain
• Nursing home experience and psychiatric experience is a plus, but not required
