  • Title: Physician Assistant (Remote) - Primary Care
  • Job type: Contractor
  • Location(s): Virtual Remote
  • Overview: 1099 Physcian Assistant 8 hours per week
  • Description: We are seeking a motivated Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team on a part-time, per diem, or contract basis. This is a remote telehealth role providing high-quality primary care and behavioral health services to patients throughout California.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct virtual consultations, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions for patients of all ages, in two 4-hour clinics per week.
    • Clinic 1 Tues 1 pm- 5 pm
    • Clinic 2 Wed 2pm-6 pm
  • Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and care teams.
  • Fully document encounters, treatment plans, and medication changes in the EMR system in a timely manner.
  • Educate patients on lifestyle, disease prevention, and medication adherence.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other providers to ensure coordinated care.
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal telemedicine regulations.
Requirements
  • Active, unrestricted California PA license in good standing.
  • Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in family medicine, primary care, internal medicine, or urgent care.
  • Comfortable managing both primary care and behavioral health needs.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a virtual environment.
