Physician Assistant/ Resident Medical officer

Role Overview

To provide medical care to pediatric cardiac patients in both the ward and ICU settings. The role involves close monitoring, timely clinical interventions, coordination with consultants, and ensuring compassionate, child-centric care in alignment with the institution’s values.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care

• Provide continuous medical supervision and management of pre- and post-operative pediatric cardiac patients.
• Monitor vitals, hemodynamics, fluid balance, medications, and ventilatory parameters.
• Identify early signs of clinical deterioration and initiate prompt interventions.
• Assist consultants in patient evaluation, procedures, and clinical rounds.
• Ensure adherence to ICU and ward protocols, infection control measures, and safety standards.

Patient Management & Documentation

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans.
• Oversee medication administration,
• Coordinate investigations, review results, and escalate findings appropriately.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with pediatric cardiac surgeons, intensivists, anesthetists, and nursing teams.
• Participate in handovers, multidisciplinary rounds, and patient-family updates.

Family Communication & Support

• Provide clear, empathetic communication to parents/guardians regarding patient condition and care processes.
• Assist in counseling families on pre-operative and post-operative care as guided by consultants.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
