Job Summary:
Idaho Arthritis Center, situated in Meridian and Caldwell, Idaho, is currently seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our rheumatology clinic. Our team looks forward to working directly with a dedicated and hardworking full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in our independent private practice. With 20+ years of experience in rheumatology in the Treasure Valley, we look forward to mentoring an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in delivering exceptional rheumatology care to our valued patients.
Our independent private practice, Idaho Arthritis Center, operates efficiently and offers a comprehensive range of services to deliver high-quality rheumatology care. This includes diagnostic and procedural musculoskeletal ultrasound, a CLIA-certified laboratory, in-office infusion services, and more. Our team consists of dedicated and friendly staff, including medical assistants who collaborate closely with our medical professionals. Our providers utilize AI-assisted medical documentation tools to reduce manual charting and allow more time to focus on patient care.
Schedule:
Four days per week (with the possibility of one to four days per month in Caldwell), from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
No night or weekend shifts are required, and most major holidays (New Year’s, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas) will be off-duty.
Salary and Benefits:
· Competitive base salary

· Quarterly productivity bonus based on wRVU, starting after 2 years

Experience / Qualifications:
· Rheumatology experience preferred, although all applicants will be considered, including motivated new graduates
· Capability to see 16–18 patients daily
· Preferred experience in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (MSKUS) injections
· Working knowledge of diagnostic MSKUS is preferred
· Preferred experience in managing biologics
· Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is preferred

· Maintain a congenial attitude while interacting with both patients and staff
· Demonstrate a compassionate approach when caring for patients with chronic rheumatic conditions
· Collaborate in co-managing patients with the physicians
· Demonstrate the ability to handle new patient assessments
· Embrace a team-oriented approach to the long-term chronic care of rheumatic conditions
· Perform assessments and manage patients in the office for routine and acute care, working directly with the physicians
