We’re excited to welcome an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join HMC Kidney Associates, a well-established and growing nephrology practice. This is a great opportunity to step into a supportive environment where you can build meaningful patient relationships and make a real impact.
In this role, you’ll work closely with physicians and care teams to provide high-quality care to patients with kidney-related conditions. Your responsibilities will include:
Performing patient evaluations, including pre-operative histories and physicals
Educating patients on procedures, treatment plans, and ongoing care
Managing and monitoring treatment plans within your scope of practice
Prescribing medications and therapies in collaboration with physicians
Supporting preventive care, health maintenance, and patient counseling
Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
Collaborating with the care team to ensure smooth patient flow and coordination
Participating in ongoing training, education, and quality improvement efforts
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current Massachusetts licensure
NCCPA certification (for PAs)
At least 3 years of clinical experience
Nephrology experience preferred
Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills
Comfort working with adult and geriatric patients in a diverse community
Established, respected nephrology practice with room to grow
