Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the physician and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential in delivering comprehensive medical services, including diagnosis, treatment, and patient education across various settings such as clinics and emergency rooms.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Perform various medical procedures such as IV infusion, dermabrasion, and other clinical interventions as needed.
• Manage patient care in both clinic and emergency room settings, ensuring adherence to established standards of care.
• Document patient interactions accurately using electronic health record systems like eClinical Works or other systems.
• Provide education to patients regarding their conditions, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
• Participate in critical care management when necessary.
• Maintain knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to ensure effective communication within the healthcare team.

Skills

• Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems.
• Strong understanding of anatomy and medical terminology to facilitate accurate assessments and documentation.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and continuous professional development.
• Ability to work some Saturdays in the month.
