Job Summary:

We are seeking a Physician to lead our Clinical Research Department. This role will involve overseeing all aspects of clinical trials from start up to protocol implementation to close out, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving research that advances medical care.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management

Lead the Clinical Research Department, providing direction and oversight for clinical trials.
Mentor and help manage a team of coordinators, nursing, and support staff.

Clinical Trials Oversight

Primary Investigator of clinical trials.
Ensure adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory requirements.

Patient Interaction

Conduct patient assessments and screenings for clinical trial eligibility.
Engage with participants to ensure informed consent and provide ongoing support throughout the trial.

Collaboration

Work with external partners to facilitate research initiatives.

Budgeting & Funding

Assist in the development of budgets for clinical trials and seek funding opportunities.
Manage financial aspects of the research department efficiently.

Qualifications

Education: MD or DO

Experience: No experience required doing clinical research or running clinical trials. You need to be motivated to be the Principal Investigator on several trials and willing to grow the practice to be on the cutting edge of patient care. You will be fully trained on all aspects of clinical trials.

Licensure: Active medical license in PA, U.S.A.
