Physician for Clinical Research - Gastroenterologist

Position Summary:
We are seeking a board-certified Gastroenterologist to provide medical leadership and expertise in gastroenterology clinical trials. The physician will be involved in working on studies for new cutting-edge treatments related to digestive and gastrointestinal conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), liver disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), gastrointestinal cancers, and other digestive disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage clinical research studies focusing on gastrointestinal disorders such as inflammatory bowel disease, liver diseases, GI cancers, and other related conditions.
• Evaluate patient eligibility, monitor treatment administration, and oversee patient safety throughout the clinical trial.
• Collaborate closely with clinical research coordinators, nurses, data managers, and regulatory teams to ensure smooth trial operations.
• Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), FDA, EMA, and other relevant regulatory guidelines.
• Contribute to clinical trial protocol development, data analysis, and reporting.
• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation.
• Represent the clinical research team during investigator meetings, audits, and regulatory submissions.

Qualifications:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with board certification in Gastroenterology. (required)
• Valid medical license to practice gastroenterology in the relevant jurisdiction (required).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
