Physician - Infectious Disease

**Job Description:**

• Work with adult patients who have infections.

• Spend most of the time (70%) in the hospital and some time (30%) in clinics.

• Help patients with different and complicated health issues.

• Provide services such as travel health advice, vaccinations, and physical exams for immigration.

• Treat a variety of patients, including offering IV antibiotics at home, in a center, or at nursing homes.

• Opportunity to teach medical students and advanced practice trainees.

• Work together with many other doctors and specialists, like those in surgery and radiology.

**Qualifications:**

• Must be Board Eligible (within 5 years of becoming eligible with plans to test) or Board Certified in Infectious Diseases

- REQUIRED - Must have an Ohio license (or be willing to get one)

- REQUIRED - Must obtain DEA license before starting -

REQUIRED - Must have a clean record for malpractice and licenses

**Certification Requirements:**

Board Certified - Board Eligible - Must have a State License for Ohio
