Physician (MD) - Anesthesiologists

Shift: Varied A 1.0 FTE is roughly 2200 hours annually (including all types of call) and is made up of day
Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician (MD) to join the Anesthesiologists team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:
- Join a professional team of physicians practicing a care team model with medical direction over CRNAs
- Provide anesthesia services for general and complex range of cases including orthopedic, gynecology, ENT, complex vascular, neurosurgery, interventional cardiology, and cardiothoracic procedures
- Support anesthesia services for patients in radiology and full obstetrical practice with epidural opportunities
- Perform peripheral nerve blocks and advanced regional techniques including popliteal, saphenous, adductor canal, erector spinae, TAP, and brachial plexus blocks
- Participate in improving OR efficiency and quality of patient care initiatives
- Support the Surgical Optimization Service for comprehensive patient review prior to surgery
- Work with surgical colleagues to reach enhanced recovery goals through regional anesthesia techniques
- Share call duties including day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday rotations
- Maintain Board Certification in Anesthesiology or achieve certification within 2 years if Board Eligible
- Maintain required certifications including DEA, ACLS, and BLS
- Maintain valid state medical licensure
Qualifications:
- Active Physician (MD) license in good standing (state-specific)
- Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant Anesthesiologists experience preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
