Location: Albany, NY

Pay: $650,000 annually

Shift: Varied Variable 8,10,12 hour shifts + On call

Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician (MD) to join the Anesthesiologists team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:

• Provide anesthesia care for patients undergoing cardiac surgical procedures, including CABG, valve replacements, and other complex cardiac surgeries
• Provide general and regional anesthesia for a variety of endoscopic, cardiac, orthopedic, pediatric, obstetric, cosmetic, and general surgical procedures
• Collaborate closely with team of cardiac surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in pre-operative evaluations and post-operative care of cardiac patients
• Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of anesthesia protocols and practices within the institute
• Cover cases at multiple hospital campuses as required
• Handle primarily cardiac and vascular cases for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patient populations
• Participate in call rotation schedule as assigned
• Maintain required certifications including ECHO Board Certification and/or Cardiac Fellowship completion
• Provide compassionate care to patients using strong interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications:

• Active Physician (MD) license in good standing (state-specific)
• Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant Anesthesiologists experience preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
