Physician (MD) - Cardiologists
Location: Robbinsdale, MN

Shift: Days Days Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm + On call
Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician (MD) to join the Cardiologists team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:
- Provide direct patient care in clinic and hospital settings examining and treating patients with cardiovascular disorders and diseases
- See patients in outpatient non-invasive cardiology clinic for new and follow-up appointments
- Participate in inpatient cardiology rounding service
- Participate in non-invasive cardiology call rotation Q7 with weeknight call 5:00 pm-8:00 am and 24-hour weekend call
- Read rest/stress echoes and nuclear studies
- Perform transesophageal echocardiographies (TEEs) and cardioversions
- Consult with patients and families to determine appropriate course of treatment
- Recommend and order tests to help diagnose conditions and determine extent of illness
- Work with healthcare management team to provide continuity of care
- Provide cardiology call coverage and respond to emergent cardiac cases as appropriate
- Perform echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, electrical cardioversions, electrocardiograms (EKGs), treadmill stress tests, and chemical stress tests
- Supervise advanced practice providers (APPs) supporting rounding activities
- Supervise stress tests and cardiac rehabilitation as needed
- Travel to multiple locations including outreach sites
- Utilize EPIC Electronic Health Record system for documentation
- Perform general cardiology duties in support of the cardiology group
Qualifications:
- Active Physician (MD) license in good standing (state-specific)
- Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant Cardiologists experience preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
