Physician (MD) - Cardiologists
Location: Saratoga Springs, NY
Pay: $600,000 annually
Shift: Days Days 50/50- hospital/clinics + On call
Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician (MD) to join the Cardiologists team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.
Note: This is a direct placement opportunity. Travelers will not be considered for this role. The selected candidate will be hired directly by our client. Benefits and other employment terms may vary.
Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:
- Treat Non-Invasive Cardiology cases and perform procedures in both inpatient and outpatient environments
- Provide excellent clinical care with strong communication skills and team-oriented approach
- Work in a 50/50 hospital/clinic split schedule
- Take call 1 weeknight per week (primarily telephone-based with rare in-person requirements)
- Participate in weekend call rotation 1:5 with APP support
- Round in hospital on weekend days and provide phone consultation at night
- Maintain Board Certification or work toward Board Certification in Cardiology within eligibility timeframe
- Maintain Board Certification in Internal Medicine
- Obtain and maintain New York medical license
- Complete Fellowship training in Cardiology prior to start date
- Meet annual RVU thresholds for Pool Model participation after Year 1
- Participate in quality and performance incentive programs
- Utilize state-of-the-art cardiovascular technology and equipment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including cardiologists, advanced practitioners, and certified technologists
- Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care including prevention and treatment services
Qualifications:
- Active Physician (MD) license in good standing (state-specific)
- Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant Cardiologists experience preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
