Shift: Days Clinic Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician (MD) to join the Cardiologists team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.

Note: This is a direct placement opportunity. Travelers will not be considered for this role. The selected candidate will be hired directly by our client. Benefits and other employment terms may vary.

Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:

• Provide comprehensive cardiology services as a full-time, fellowship-trained non-invasive or invasive cardiologist
• Collaborate with a team of two primary cardiologists and support staff for call coverage and complex cardiac procedures
• Work within a multi-disciplinary approach to ensure high quality patient care
• Participate in call rotation covering 1:3 nights and weekends
• Provide evidence-based cardiovascular care using the latest technologies and procedures
• Participate in clinical trials to offer patients access to cutting-edge care
• Maintain board certification in internal medicine
• Maintain board eligibility or certification in cardiovascular disease
• Maintain valid state licensure and DEA certification
• Ensure clean malpractice history and compliance with credentialing requirements
• Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons, electrophysiologists, and interventional cardiologists
• Provide consistent, quality and safe heart care to patients
• Participate in continuing medical education and professional development activities

Qualifications:

• Active Physician (MD) license in good standing (state-specific)
• Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant Cardiologists experience preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
