Physician (MD) - Cardiologists
Location: Scottsbluff, NE
Pay: Negotiable
Shift: Days Clinic Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm
Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician (MD) to join the Cardiologists team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.
Note: This is a direct placement opportunity. Travelers will not be considered for this role. The selected candidate will be hired directly by our client. Benefits and other employment terms may vary.
Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:
- Provide comprehensive cardiology services as a full-time, fellowship-trained non-invasive or invasive cardiologist
- Collaborate with a team of two primary cardiologists and support staff for call coverage and complex cardiac procedures
- Work within a multi-disciplinary approach to ensure high quality patient care
- Participate in call rotation covering 1:3 nights and weekends
- Provide evidence-based cardiovascular care using the latest technologies and procedures
- Participate in clinical trials to offer patients access to cutting-edge care
- Maintain board certification in internal medicine
- Maintain board eligibility or certification in cardiovascular disease
- Maintain valid state licensure and DEA certification
- Ensure clean malpractice history and compliance with credentialing requirements
- Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons, electrophysiologists, and interventional cardiologists
- Provide consistent, quality and safe heart care to patients
- Participate in continuing medical education and professional development activities
Qualifications:
- Active Physician (MD) license in good standing (state-specific)
- Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant Cardiologists experience preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
