Physician MD / DO

Summary:

Searching for a physician who is board-eligible or board-certified in internal medicine, family medicine, or emergency medicine and who is experienced in primary care to provide on-site services at this facility. Full-time services. Schedule is weekdays - no evenings, weekends, or holidays. Assignment may last at least 6 months and eventually lead to permanent hire if there is mutual good fit.

Physician Duties

• Working collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting
• utilising an electronic health record system
• Conducting exams and writing evaluations and reports
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing
• Managing medication
• Completing reclassification and other reviews as indicated
• Making referrals for specialised care or treatment
• Performing duties in accordance with scope of practice, policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional Association standards
• Participating in Continuous Quality Improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews
• Engaging in collaborative agreements, as needed
• Caseload: Up to 2.5 patients/hour

Job Type: Contract

Pay: Up to $152.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
