Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician (MD) to join the Emergency Medicine Specialists team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.
Note: This is a direct placement opportunity. Travelers will not be considered for this role. The selected candidate will be hired directly by our client. Benefits and other employment terms may vary.
Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:
- Provide high-quality emergency care to pediatric patients in a high-volume setting (~55,000 annual visits)
- Collaborate closely with subspecialty teams including PICU, CVICU, NICU, and hospitalists to manage complex cases
- Work alongside a strong support team including child life specialists and pediatric social workers dedicated to ER presence
- Engage in bedside teaching and supervision of Pediatric, Emergency Medicine, and Family Practice residents from six programs
- Participate in training and didactic sessions for Pediatric ER fellows if desired
- Benefit from full scribe coverage to optimize patient care and documentation

- Maintain Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
- Maintain Nevada Medical License or eligibility to obtain
- Maintain clean malpractice and medical license history
Qualifications:
- Active Physician (MD) license in good standing (state-specific)
- Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant Emergency Medicine Specialists experience preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
