Physician (MD) - Endocrinologists
Location: Albany, NY
Pay: $245,000 - $260,000 annually
Shift: Days Days + On call
Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician (MD) to join the Endocrinologists team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:
- Provide primarily outpatient endocrinology services
- Participate in 1:10 call schedule with additional inpatient call coverage when inpatient providers are off
- Diagnose, treat and provide long-term care for individuals with diabetes and other endocrine and metabolic disorders
- Utilize latest diabetes care technology including insulin pump/sensor download and professional continuous glucose monitoring (CGM)
- Provide specialized services including complication screening, prevention and treatment
- Manage medication therapies for endocrine conditions
- Conduct foot care assessments and treatments
- Provide smoking cessation counseling
- Perform onsite HbA1c testing
- Offer weight management and nutritional counseling
- Facilitate diabetes support groups
- Conduct individual and group diabetes education classes
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team of endocrinologists, advanced practitioners and certified diabetes educators
- Develop innovative treatment strategies to help patients effectively control and manage diabetes
- Maintain Board Certification or work toward Board Certification in Endocrinology
- Maintain valid state medical licensure
Qualifications:
- Active Physician (MD) license in good standing (state-specific)
- Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant Endocrinologists experience preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
