Shift: Days Days + On call

Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician (MD) to join the Gastroenterologists team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.

Note: This is a direct placement opportunity. Travelers will not be considered for this role. The selected candidate will be hired directly by our client. Benefits and other employment terms may vary.

Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:

• See 15-20 patients per day in outpatient setting
• Provide outpatient Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine services
• Work as part of a high volume office practice
• Collaborate with experienced team including Advanced Practice Provider
• Utilize blocked time in OR for procedures
• Document patient care using fully integrated EMR system (EPIC)
• Accept referrals from employed and affiliated Primary Care Physicians
• Work with onsite lab and X-Ray services
• Take call 10 days per month
• Maintain Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Gastroenterology
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Maintain valid state medical license
• Maintain current DEA registration
• Live within 40-mile radius of facility or be willing to relocate
• Complete continuing medical education requirements

Qualifications:

• Active Physician (MD) license in good standing (state-specific)
• Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant Gastroenterologists experience preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
