Pay: Negotiable

Shift: Days Autonomy and flexibility in schedule; M-F 8 am - 5 pm

Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician (MD) to join the Geriatric Medicine Specialists team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:

• Provide care for patients in eight local nursing facilities
• Support the Advanced Care Coordination Program
• Teach Residents, Medical Students, and Fellows
• Deliver comprehensive geriatric medical care to complex patient populations
• Participate in shared call responsibilities among providers
• Maintain Board Certification in Geriatrics Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
• Obtain and maintain Michigan medical license
• Obtain and maintain DEA registration
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Participate in continuing medical education and professional development
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Provide patient care with adequate visit lengths to meet complex needs
• Maintain clean malpractice record and professional standing

Qualifications:

• Active Physician (MD) license in good standing (state-specific)
• Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant Geriatric Medicine Specialists experience preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
