Physician (MD) - Maternal Fetal Medicine

Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician (MD) to join the Maternal Fetal Medicine team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.
Note: This is a direct placement opportunity. Travelers will not be considered for this role. The selected candidate will be hired directly by our client. Benefits and other employment terms may vary.
Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:
- Provide specialized care in Maternal Fetal Medicine managing high-risk pregnancies and fetal complications
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including obstetricians, neonatologists and other specialists to create comprehensive care plans and be their main source for referrals
- Provide regional physician services mostly in Grand Rapids with some travel to Muskegon as needed
- Participate in the education and training of medical students and residents
- Share on call responsibilities with MFM Partner/Medical Director including phone calls and hospital visits as needed
- Maintain Board Certification in OB/GYN
- Obtain and maintain Board Certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine within 2 years if Board Eligible
- Maintain Michigan medical license
- Maintain DEA registration
- Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Work with assigned MA, Sonographer and additional support staff at all offices
Qualifications:
- Active Physician (MD) license in good standing (state-specific)
- Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant Maternal Fetal Medicine experience preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
