Physician (MD) - Maternal Fetal Medicine

Location: Livonia, MI

Pay: Negotiable

Shift: Days Days + On call

Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician (MD) to join the Maternal Fetal Medicine team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.

Note: This is a direct placement opportunity. Travelers will not be considered for this role. The selected candidate will be hired directly by our client. Benefits and other employment terms may vary.

Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:

  • Provide specialized care in Maternal Fetal Medicine managing high-risk pregnancies and fetal complications
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including obstetricians, neonatologists and other specialists to create comprehensive care plans and be their main source for referrals
  • Provide services as a Regional Physician mostly in Grand Rapids with some travel to Muskegon as needed
  • Participate in the education and training of medical students and residents
  • Work with assigned MA, Sonographer and additional support staff at all offices
  • Share on call responsibilities with MFM Partner/Medical Director including phone calls and hospital visits as needed
  • Maintain Board Certification in OB/GYN
  • Obtain and maintain Board Certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine within required timeframe
  • Maintain current Michigan medical license
  • Maintain current DEA registration
  • Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications

Qualifications:

  • Active Physician (MD) license in good standing (state-specific)
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant Maternal Fetal Medicine experience preferred
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
