Physician (MD) - Maternal Fetal Medicine

Location: Atlantic City, NJ

Pay: $650,000 - $675,000 annually

Shift: Rotating 8am-4pm with rotating consultative call


Overview:


We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician (MD) to join the Maternal Fetal Medicine team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.


Note: This is a direct placement opportunity. Travelers will not be considered for this role. The selected candidate will be hired directly by our client. Benefits and other employment terms may vary.


Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:


  • Join a team of 3 Perinatologists and 2 Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs)
  • Work a 5-day work week with office hours from 9am to 5pm
  • Rotate between outpatient locations in Pomona and Atlantic City
  • Provide inpatient consultative services at medical center for childbirth
  • Participate in rotating consultative call schedule including nights and weekends
  • Utilize Cerner EMR system and GE Viewpoint for ultrasound reporting
  • Collaborate with Obstetrics Medicine Clinic for postpartum management
  • Support remote patient monitoring for diabetic and hypotensive patients
  • Provide consultative services to OB Generalists and Neonatologists
  • Work within a Level III NICU facility with 22 beds, 9 labor and delivery beds, and 25 private postpartum beds
  • Maintain Board Certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine
  • Maintain active and unrestricted NJ medical license
  • Maintain DEA and CSR/CDS certification
  • Comply with COVID and Flu vaccination requirements

Qualifications:

  • Active Physician (MD) license in good standing (state-specific)
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant Maternal Fetal Medicine experience preferred
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
