Physician (MD) - Neonatologist

Location: Henderson, NV

Pay: Negotiable

Shift: Varied Flexible clinical shifts in Level II and Level III NICUs; daytime and potentially on-call co

Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician (MD) to join the Neonatologist team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.

Note: This is a direct placement opportunity. Travelers will not be considered for this role. The selected candidate will be hired directly by our client. Benefits and other employment terms may vary.

Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:

  • Provide high-quality clinical care to newborns in Level III and Level II NICU environments
  • Utilize advanced neonatal technologies including body cooling, jet ventilation, oscillators, and inhaled nitric oxide (iNO)
  • Collaborate closely with pediatric subspecialists such as pediatric surgery, maternal-fetal medicine, and OB hospitalists to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Lead and participate in teaching initiatives and quality improvement projects
  • Work alongside highly skilled nursing team and ancillary staff in a supportive, collegial environment
  • Engage in flexible scheduling designed to promote healthy work/life balance
  • Provide on-call coverage as part of team approach to support 24/7 NICU care
  • Work rotating weekends with flexible scheduling arrangements
  • Maintain Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
  • Obtain and maintain Nevada medical license
  • Maintain clean malpractice and license history

Qualifications:

  • Active Physician (MD) license in good standing (state-specific)
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant Neonatologist experience preferred
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
