Physician (MD) - Neonatologist

Location: Las Vegas, NV

Pay: $250,000 annually

Shift: Varied 12-hour in-house shifts. 15 per month for full-time status.


Overview:


We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician (MD) to join the Neonatologist team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:


  • Provide board-certified, fellowship-trained neonatology services in level III NICU settings
  • Deliver evidence-based quality care to newborns with specialized medical needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including pediatric subspecialists such as neurologists, cardiologists, pulmonologists, gastroenterologists and surgeons
  • Utilize cutting-edge neonatal services including high frequency ventilation, body cooling, and inhaled nitric oxide therapy
  • Work with pediatric subspecialty support including pediatric surgery
  • Participate in teaching and continuous quality improvement opportunities
  • Work 12-hour in-house shifts with 15 shifts per month for full-time status
  • Maintain Board Certification in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
  • Complete fellowship training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine prior to start
  • Obtain and maintain Nevada medical license
  • Obtain DEA registration prior to start
  • Obtain CSR/CDS certification prior to start
  • Maintain clean malpractice and license history
  • Provide comprehensive neonatal care across multiple hospital locations as needed

Qualifications:

  • Active Physician (MD) license in good standing (state-specific)
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant Neonatologist experience preferred
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
