Physician (MD) - Neurologists

Location: Albany, NY

Pay: $350,000 annually

Shift: Varied 7 on/7 off or 14 on/14 off inpatient schedule, 24-hour hospital coverage


Overview:


We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician (MD) to join the Neurologists team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.


Note: This is a direct placement opportunity. Travelers will not be considered for this role. The selected candidate will be hired directly by our client. Benefits and other employment terms may vary.


Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:


  • Provide inpatient neurological care with no outpatient or clinic responsibilities
  • Participate in a flexible work schedule: 7 on/7 off or 14 on/14 off
  • Manage a broad spectrum of neurological conditions including stroke, epilepsy, back pain, brain tumors, dementia, neuropathies, and movement disorders
  • Work closely with an integrated network of general and specialty neurologists for seamless patient referral and follow-up
  • Serve in a Primary Stroke Center-designated facility
  • Collaborate within a physician-led team that prioritizes quality, compassionate, and team-based care
  • Utilize hospital support staff including neurodiagnostic services and subspecialist consultation
  • Provide inpatient coverage during scheduled shifts
  • Work weekends as part of rotation schedule
  • Maintain Board Certification in Neurology
  • Maintain clean malpractice and license history
  • Obtain and maintain NY medical license
  • Obtain and maintain DEA registration

Qualifications:

  • Active Physician (MD) license in good standing (state-specific)
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant Neurologists experience preferred
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
