Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician (MD) to join the Obstetricians and Gynecologists team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.

Note: This is a direct placement opportunity. Travelers will not be considered for this role. The selected candidate will be hired directly by our client. Benefits and other employment terms may vary.

Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:

• Provide delivery attendance and OB triage services
• Conduct patient evaluation and management for obstetric cases
• Assist in surgical procedures as needed
• Monitor fetal conditions and provide appropriate interventions
• Provide ER coverage for obstetric emergencies
• Work collaboratively with MFM specialists for high-risk patient care
• Participate in approximately 60 deliveries per month
• Provide 24/7 in-house coverage through shift-based schedule
• Work 7.5 24-hour shifts per month for full-time status
• Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine and neonatology practices
• Participate in teaching opportunities with fellows, residents and medical students
• Maintain Board Certification or Board Eligibility in OB/GYN
• Maintain active California medical license
• Obtain and maintain DEA registration prior to start date
• Work within a Level-III NICU environment caring for newborns 23 weeks and above

Qualifications:

• Active Physician (MD) license in good standing (state-specific)
• Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant Obstetricians and Gynecologists experience preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
