Location: Forth Worth, TX

Pay: $135 hourly

Shift: 24Hour Full time is 7.5 24-hour shifts/month, although we are willing to lower that to 5.5 shifts/m

Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician (MD) to join the Obstetricians and Gynecologists team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.

Note: This is a direct placement opportunity. Travelers will not be considered for this role. The selected candidate will be hired directly by our client. Benefits and other employment terms may vary.

Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:

• Handle an annual delivery volume of 1,924, with 96 vaginal and C-section deliveries performed by hospitalists
• Manage a 40% C-section rate in the delivery caseload
• Oversee 2,296 unscheduled outpatient OB/GYN triage visits annually
• Conduct 1,229 OBED consults each year
• Collaborate with in-house neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners in a Level II NICU setting
• Work with maternal-fetal medicine specialists to manage high-risk pregnancies
• Perform tasks including OB triage, admissions, attending deliveries, and inpatient care
• Provide care for unassigned patients and assist with private call coverage
• Cover the OB floor and handle ER consults for GYN emergencies
• Assist in surgical procedures during Cesarean sections
• Respond to emergencies in the labor and delivery unit
• Work 7.5 24-hour shifts per month for full-time position or minimum 5.5 24-hour shifts per month for part-time position
• Maintain Board Certification or Board Eligibility in OB/GYN
• Maintain active state licensure
• Obtain and maintain DEA registration

Qualifications:

• Active Physician (MD) license in good standing (state-specific)
• Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant Obstetricians and Gynecologists experience preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
