Pay: Negotiable

Shift: 24Hour 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM (24-hour shifts) - 5 to 6 shifts per month

Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician (MD) to join the Obstetricians and Gynecologists team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.

Note: This is a direct placement opportunity. Travelers will not be considered for this role. The selected candidate will be hired directly by our client. Benefits and other employment terms may vary.

Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:

• Provide expert inpatient obstetrical care in a busy hospital environment • Care for approximately thirteen to fourteen patients daily in inpatient, outpatient, rounds, and clinic settings • Deliver comprehensive obstetrical care with an average of 4-5 deliveries per 24-hour period • Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections (approximately 25% C-sections) • Work five to six twenty-four-hour shifts per month from 7 AM to 7 AM • Provide weekend coverage following the same 24-hour schedule as weekdays • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team in Level 2 NICU hospital environment • Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system for patient documentation and care management • Maintain Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology • Maintain current Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Drug Enforcement Administration licenses • Hold appropriate state medical license or active application in progress • Comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements • Participate in holiday coverage when scheduled • Deliver high-quality obstetrical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings

Qualifications:

• Active Physician (MD) license in good standing (state-specific)
• Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant Obstetricians and Gynecologists experience preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
